Who we are and what we do

Welcome to the world of Federazione Italiana Roundnet (FIR).
We are a national sports association, founded with passion and determination by a group of local realities united by a single great goal: bring roundnet on every field, lawn and beach of Italy. 

FIR was born as an open, dynamic and inclusive space, where two strong and complementary souls coexist:

• on the one hand, promotion of sport, through events, tournaments, open days and dissemination activities designed to introduce roundnet to anyone who wants to enter the field;
• on the other hand, the development of the competitive side, driving athletes and affiliated teams in a path of technical, organizational and human growth, to best address the challenges of the competitive season. 

We operate in a democratic and transparent, non-profit-making way, with the idea that sport is first and foremost community, participation and true passion. 

Meet our Executive Board

My name is Laura and I play Roundnet from far 2021, when still no one knew well whether it was a sport or an excuse to dive into the sand.
In 2022, together with a group of friends, I founded my first Roundnet ASD in Bologna.
I like to be on the field, but even more to see the Roundnet grow thanks to those who organize it, promote it and really believe in it. That's why I chose to go behind the scenes: tournaments, events, Excel tables and a thousand posts on WhatsApp are almost as much in my daily life as the games.

I am Pier, the group elder, faster with my fingers on a keyboard than running behind a ball.
My passion for roundnet goes beyond the game: I dream of a wider, inclusive and welcoming community, where even those who have just arrived can experience memorable events and feel immediately part of the group.
